The Collector’s Room—A Curated Event with Art.me

  • 260 West 36th Street New York, NY, 10018 United States (map)

Join Art.me for an evening where two distinct artistic journeys converge in an exclusive private pop-up salon. Each month, Art.me reveals two hand-selected artists in an intimate showcase designed for serious collectors, tastemakers, and cultural insiders.

This September, we bring together Stephanie S. Moon and Jessica C. Fisher—two contemporary painters whose work, though strikingly different in form, resonates with a shared depth of emotion. Moon, a master of abstract optical art, begins with the rigor of the grid, only to break free into the passion of kinetic movement. Fisher, an oil painter, turns her gaze inward, creating hauntingly powerful renditions of the eye—windows that capture pain, resilience, and the unspoken truths only women seem to carry.

Together, their works form a dialogue of structure and vulnerability, precision and feeling, discipline and release. Set within a refined Manhattan venue, this night invites you to move beyond viewing art and into experiencing the artists themselves—their stories, their process, their vision. Guests will enjoy curated wines, small bites, and the rare chance to engage directly with the creators behind the canvases.

With only 80 guests invited, the evening offers more than art—it’s an experience of connection, luxury, and access. This is not a gallery opening. This is The Collector’s Room—a private evening where art meets elegance, and every conversation could lead to your next acquisition.

About the Artists

Stephanie S. Moon

Contemporary Painter

Stephanie Soyoung Moon is a contemporary painter specializing in abstract optical art, exploring the dynamic interplay of kinetic movement within the structure of the grid. Born in the United States and based in New York. Moon earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts and further honed her skills at The Art Students League of New York. Her work is included in permanent collections at Dwight Englewood School, New York, and Florida. Drawing from her background in graphic design, her technical mastery of painting, and a deep fascination with geometry and mosaic art, her work offers a unique perspective where the grid becomes a portal to a symphony of motion, weaving dimensions.

Jessica C. Fisher

Contemporary Oil Painter

Born in New York in 1979, Jessica Fisher is a painter whose work merges personal narrative with explorations of life’s darker complexities. Raised among the landscapes of Westchester and the Catskills, she developed a deep connection to nature and introspection that informs her art today. After studying cinema at Binghamton University, she trained under renowned artist Sterling Hundley and at Visual Arts Passage with mentors John English, Cassandra Kim, and Raymond Bonilla, shaping her distinctive visual language. Now based in New York City, Fisher draws inspiration from its dynamic energy while channeling influences from Phil Hale, Henrik Uldalen, Edward Povey, and Hundley. Her evocative pieces invite viewers into a dialogue with the shadowed facets of the human condition.
